Not only can you grow them, but you can add them to cakes. If you are a keen baker, you can try adding the leaves of lemon and orange scented geraniums to your Victoria sponge. The leaves will really enhance the flavour of your cake and is a fun way to experiment with your baking technique. 

Once again, scented geraniums are easy to propagate. They do flower, but the flowers are much smaller than standard geraniums. Still, they love to absorb pollutants and keep the bugs such as greenfly away. Just what you need when you want to grow your own plants in your London flat.
