Most of the time we grow geraniums because of their colourful flowers. That is great, but there are many different types of geraniums. Did you know you can get geraniums that smell like orange, lemon, oak trees, and rose? They are called scented geraniums and are becoming increasingly popular.  

Not only can you grow them, but you can add them to cakes. If you are a keen baker, you can try adding the leaves of lemon and orange scented geraniums to your Victoria sponge. The leaves will really enhance the flavour of your cake and is a fun way to experiment with your baking technique.
