Most Boring and Entertaining Movies

January 19, 2016

Movies are meant to entertain, teach, thrill or drive the audience into a world of utmost fantasy. At times, movie makers, actors and scriptwriters hit a jackpot making the most interesting movies ever with a high viewer-ship. At other times however, they hit a precipice and bring to our screens the most boring movies. Watching them is a complete waste of time, or so we feel.

In this review, we will look at two movies, one boring and the other interesting. The boring one has already been released and you shouldn’t watch it. The interesting one is yet to be released and it is a must-watch.

Mortdecai Movie Review

Starred by Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow. Ewan Mc Gregor , Olivia Munn, Johny Pasvolky, Paul Bettany and Jeff Goldblum, Mortdecai is probably the most boring ever. It was released in January 23, 2014 , written by Eric Aronson and has David Koepp as its director. With a budget of $60 Million and a runtime of 106 minutes, the movie fails to entertain. Johnny Depp tries hard to entertain with his dry humor but fails. It was produced by Company Infinitum Nihi Productio and distributed by Lionsgate. Critiques to the movie say that nobody should be subjected to such a poor show and that Johnny Depp should rethink his humorous roles because they fail to come out as a tad comical.

The Triology of Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Review

The movie has been eagerly anticipated and will have people throng into movie theatres and cinemas to watch as a book that has been read by millions is acted on the film

Fifty Shades is the eagerly awaited movie adaptation of E.L James’ thrilling and erotic book that has become a global phenomenon selling more than 100 million copies both in print and in electronic form. The book has also been translated in more than 51 languages and proved to be the best selling book of its time. The R rated movie is to be released on the eve of Valentine’s day this year, a thing that shows that the book is an epitome of romance and drama.

Jamie Dornan will be stepping into the shoes of the handsome yet tormented billionaire Christian Grey while Dakota Johnson will slip her feet in the shoes of Anastasia Steele. Other cast members include Luke Grimes as Elliot who is Christian’s brother, Eloise Mumford will take the part of Kate who is Anastasia’s best friend, Dylan Neal as Bob, Victor Rasuk as Jose, Marcia Gay Harden as Dr. Grace Trevelyan and Max Martini as Taylor among others. The movie is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson while its producers include Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and E. L James herself. The screenplay of the film on the other hand has been done by Kelly Marcel. The movie is produced in English, USA by Focus Features and runs for a duration of 124 minutes.

It has strong sexual content. The language in its dialogues require an adult audience as does the book from which it is adapted from. You will also see unusual erotic behavior not to mention the graphic nudity displaced as the movie plays. Therefore, parental guidance is highly recommended once the movie is released.

In summary, the movie is about Anastasia Steele, a recent college graduate who starts a romantic and sexually charged affair with the handsome yet tormented billionaire Christian Grey. Watch the drama and romance as the movie plays and be thrilled by the erotic scenes that will leave your mouth wide agape with awe.

One of the most popular line quotes is done by Anastasia and Grey. As the movie plays, Anastasia asks Grey, “ Why are you trying to change me?” Grey who proves to be a schemer says, “ I’m not. It’s you that’s changing me.”

The movie is indeed a must-watch. Critiques have highly acclaimed the movie even before its release saying that the eroticism in the movie will indeed be a welcome to all Valentine’s day romantics.
